REPORT INWARDS OF VESSELS

Description:  

This Form is to be prepared by the Master or Agent of aircraft or vessels "Entering" The Bahamas from a Foreign Port. Vessels Exempted: 1. Pleasure Vessel / Yacht the Captain or Owner is required to complete Form C2A (Inward Report - Pleasure Vessels) 2. Military Vessels

FAQ's:

Are there restricted times for entering vessels?
No. Vessels may be entered 24/7, however, this office should be advised of the arrival of the vessels, either by telephone or through a local agent.

What are the Customs overtime charges?
Charges are levied during the overtime period. An officer is posted to that vessel estimated anywhere from $15.00 to $40.00 per person, per hour. There are normally 2 persons posted at each vessel (Cruise Ship). A freighter may require more officers. * See Form 2A for charges for Pleasure Vessels.

Are any other government agencies involved in the boarding process?
Yes. The vessel must also be boarded by The Bahamas Immigration Department.
