This advisory circular provides instructions on the preparation and submittal of Bahamas Department
of Civil Aviation (DCA) FSI Form 6 (issue 3-01 and subsequent) Application for Airworthiness Certificate.
This application shall be completed not only to obtain an airworthiness certificate but also for any
amendment or modification to a current airworthiness certificate.
This application to be used by persons applying for issue or reissue of Ground Instructor, Aircraft Dispatcher, Aircraft Maintenance Technican, Parachute Rigger, Aviation Repair Specialist and Aeronautical radio Operator.
Commercial fishing is defined as fishing for any fishery resource for the purpose of subsequent sale or benefit whether it is done on a full-time or part-time basis. Current fisheries legislation stipulates that only Bahamian owned crafts can legally fish commercially within Bahamian waters. Any vessel that is 20 feet or larger that is used for commercial fishing must be licenced.
Every person desirous of operating a craft for hire shall apply to the Authority and shall furnish all relevant particulars and make any relevant declarations specified in Form I of the Third Schedule to these Regulations.
The application shall be accompanied with all relevant attachments.
An Appliance Dealer Licence allows an individual or company to sell LPG gas operated appliances. Persons interested in becoming an Appliance Dealer must apply to the Control Division of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport for an Appliance Dealer Licence.
A Vendor applying for the use of public space is charged a norminal fee based on the application. Such sporting events as Regattas, Beerfests, etc. are charged on a graduated scale starting from $50.00 with an upper limit of $1,000.00. Medical, Educational and Fire relief activities are free.
