What is occupation?
Occupation refers to a set of jobs whose main tasks and duties are characterized by a high degree of similarity (e.g. filing clerk, accountant)

Who are Time-rate employees?
Time-rate employees refer to full-time or part-time employees paid on the basis of a time unit of work such as an hour, day, a week, a fortnight or a month.

What is an employee?
Employee refers to person who works for a public or private employer and receives remuneration in wages, salary, commission, tips or piece rate

What is Basic pay/wage rate?
This includes basic wages, cost of living allowances and other guaranteed and regularly paid allowances. Excluded from this is overtime payments, bonuses, gratuities, family alloances and other National Insurance payments made by employers.
