Description:

Form I Application for the registration of a boat for all harbours and waters of The Bahama Islands Under the Boat Registration Act 1961.

Prerequisite:


Attachments:

Application submitted with:
  1. Prescribed Fee
  2. Business Licence (New or Renewal)
  3. Insurance Cetrificate
  4. Bill of Sale/Custom's Declaration (where applicable)
  5. Certificate of Incorporation/Trade Name Certificate (Registrar General )

Instructions:

1.
Submit Application with attachments.
2.
Application is stamped and its submission date recorded in register by Port personnel.
Registration number granted (Chairman of Authority/Deputy Chairman or designate)
3.
Applicant signs Port Authority Manual Register
4.
Application Advertised and Equipment Inspected
5.Application submitted to Chairman for determination which items submitted from I
6.(a) Aplicant attends Board Meeting (New/Cancelled/Revoked/Transfer)
(b) Applicant advised of status of application (approved/Rejected/Deferred)
7.
If approved, certificate of registration prepared and initialed by the Port Controller or the Deputy Port Controller.
Certificate of Registration submitted to Port Chairman who sign, seal and stamp it.
8.Applicant collects Certificate of Registration and signs register acknowledging receipt
